Lennon Adele Ham

Lennon Adele Ham was born to Jeremy & Chrissy Ham on Saturday, September 2nd at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Due to complications with the pregnancy and thus Chrissy's health, Chrissy was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. on Friday, September 1st. At 2 months shy of their due date, Chrissy's doctors determined that it was necessary for the baby's and Chrissy's health to deliver the baby as soon as conditions favored.

You can see the beautiful results! 3 pounds 1 ounce and 15 3/4 inches long. According to her Grandma Ham, she's already a spirited little girl with a good set of lungs and a determination to open her eyes as soon as possible.

Chrissy is recovering well and Jeremy is very excited to be a father. Please pray for continued healing and strengthening of Chrissy and positive growth for Lennon. They have a long road ahead of them, but, Lord willing, they will continue on safely, seeking God's grace.

Jeremy, what's with the facial hair? Are you turning Amish on us? Please tell me you shaved that dead animal off of your face after your daughter was born? You don't want to scare her at such a young age...her little heart may not be able to take it. ;)

September 13 update:
Becky and I went to see Lennon today. She is doing better, Becky got to hold her for almost 30 minutes! (made her day!!).

Got a call later from Jeremy, he said they have moved Lennon from the intermediate NICU to a 'regular' nursery in the hospital and that she is doing much better. If she continues to improve it may be a matter of days (instead of weeks) before she'll be able to go home with mom and dad. Both Jeremy and Chrissy still request your prayers for Lennon and for their financial needs.
