Snow Day w/ Boomer

Boomer, our Great Pyrenees puppy, continues to grow larger every day. He loves to spend time outdoors playing in the snow and chasing his tail. He loves to play and is wild about chewing anything and everything. He really is a good dog. Below are just a few photos from our "snow day" with Boomer.

My gosh, how he has grown in such a short time! Looks like he's having a great time outside in the snow.

Maybe by next winter you can hook him up to a sled and have him pull your soon-to-be 'little-one' around the yard.

On the other hand, he may be big enough to get him a harness and have him pull cars out of snow drifts! (just kidding).

Thanks for the pictures. VERY cute!

The icing on the cake at the end of that day was how worn out he was after playing outside. He came inside and went straight to his kennel to go to sleep. Of course I felt like doing the same thing after shoveling the driveway. ;)

you guys are very courageous...two babies in a matter of months!

at least we're spacing ours out a bit...three babies in three years!:)

Yeah, right Skymama! You guys call that spacing?!;-) Bert feels like we are falling behind, now! We only will have 4 in (almost) 7 years! PLEASE, let's not make this a contest---you know how competitive my husband is!:-)
(By the way, Joel and Stacy: the puppy is darling!!!:-)

We figured the timing was right. It was either now or, at least another 5 years. Plus, doing it now, means we get the messes in the house out of the way before we put new flooring down. Finally, Boomer will be responding better to voice commands by the time Edith (aka Lil E or Edi) is born, so we can better control him around her.

All in all, it's been crazy, but fun having a puppy in the house. I would recommend Great Pyrenees to anyone. Great breed, so far. ;)
